I've been enjoying the security of my studio lately. I enjoy creating art late at night and into San Francisco's foggy mornings. If I ever experience creative block, all I need to do is walk over to my window and watch the city sparkle as the rain creates a trance of tapping sounds across the streets. Knowing that miles away, there is someone thinking about me. Ironic that I felt this same mood while creating this piece at City Hearts San Francisco. The chaos of a social gathering was what I needed to break through with this portrait.
